The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in its order vide CA 887/2009 has held ragging to be a heinous crime and has further issued guidelines for setting up a central crisis hotline and anti-ragging database. In accordance with the orders, BMSCL constituted the anti-ragging committee with the sole intention of eradicating ragging from society.
Anti-ragging committee of BMSCL aims to ensure a bully-free campus. The committee strives to develop a friendly atmosphere between senior and junior students in the college by organising various awareness programs. The forum is open to all type of complaints and redressal is provided in accordance with stipulated guidelines.
