She holds a doctorate from Bangalore University and has done her post–graduation in Political Science from Dept. of Political Science, Jnanabharathi, Bangalore University. Her doctoral research topic was “Globalisation and North-South Divide: A Study of WTO and its Policies”. She has worked as a researcher on a UGC Major Research Project in SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai, on the emerging anti-terror architecture in India with reference to the 26/11 attacks. Her area of interests are WTO and intellectual property rights regime with specific reference to pharmaceuticals.
