Dr AnithaF N D’Souza has a Ph.D. from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Cochin, LL.M., from University Law College, Bangalore and Masters in Sociology from the University of Mysore. Her research and teaching interest include Law of Torts, Mercantile laws, Taxation and International law. She has published various research articles in international journals and also presented research papers in various national and international conferences.
She has over 25 years of teaching experience in various law colleges in Bangalore. Prior to taking over as the Principal of BMS College of Law on 17.01.2017, she was the Vice Principal from 2011 and Assistant Professor from 2003 to 2011. She has held several academic assignments such as the Chairperson, Deputy Custodian, Member of Faculty of Law and Board of Examiners of KSLU and Bangalore University on several occasions. She has been instrumental in organizing several Student Development Programmes, National Moot Court Competitions, Symposiums, Seminars, National and International Conferences etc the benefit of students.
