Dr. Anitha F N D’Souza has pursued her LL.M. from University of Law, Bangalore University. She was awarded Ph.D. from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Cochin on the topic
“The right to food and the hurdles in its enforcement under the WTO; A study in relation to implications on India”. She has also completed her M.A. in Sociology. She has several years of teaching experience in various Law colleges in Bangalore. Her areas of teaching and research include Law of Torts, Mercantile Laws, Taxation and International Law. Prior to taking over as the Principal of B.M.S. College of Law on 17-Jan-2017, she was the Vice Principal from 2011 and Assistant Professor from 2003 to 2011. She has held several academic assignments such as Chairman, Deputy Custodian, Member of Faculty of Law and Board of Examiners of KSLU and Bangalore University. She has been instrumental in organizing the Student Development Programmes, National Moot Court Competitions, Symposiums, Seminars, National and International Conferences for the benefit of students. She has presented papers in various State, National & International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Published papers in various Journals.
Dr. Sujatha S. has pursued her LL.M., M.A. and M.Phil. She has also been awarded the Ph.D. from NUALS, Ernakulam, Kerala on the topic “New Dimensions on Judicial Review of Constitutional Amendment: A Study with Special Reference to Articles 31A, 31B and 31C read with Ninth Schedule under the Constitution of India''. Currently she is serving as Vice Principal of the B.M.S. College of Law. She has been a part of B.M.S. College of Law for the past 23 years in various capacities. She is also heading as chairperson of Legal Aid Cell, Human Rights Cell and Women’s Cell. She has vast experience in the teaching profession of Law. She has presented papers in various State, National & International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Published papers in various Journals. Her areas of teaching include Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Property Law, Women & Law, Contract II and DPC. She has been contributing her services for the overall development of the institution and the students.
Dr. Veerabhadraiah C. pursued his LL.M. from University Law College, Bangalore University. He also completed his M.A. in Political Science. He was awarded a Ph.D. from University Law College & P.G. Department of Law on the topic, “Legal Regime on Contract Labor- A comparative study with special reference to India and U.K.”. He has rich experience in teaching and has been a part of B.M.S. College of law since 2006. He is a member of the Board of Studies for Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology College, Bangalore. He is also a member of the Board of Examiners for the Department of Studies in Law, Shree Krishna Devaraya University, Bellary. (External Examiner for LL.M. Dissertation). He has been a Vigilant member, Supervisor, External Senior Supervisor Flying, and Sitting Squad Member for LL.B. Examination since 2010. He has set many question papers for the KSLU examination and was an Assistant and Deputy Custodian for the December 2019 and 2020 examination valuation of KSLU. He has presented papers at the State level, National Seminars and International conferences. He has also published papers in various Books and reputed Journals.

He has rich experience of 10 years in Advocacy (both Civil and Criminal) and 14 years of teaching profession experience. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from Alliance University and research is on “A Socio-Legal study on Social and Economic Security in India.” with special reference to the State of Karnataka and Kerala. He has Legal Practice experience in both Subordinate’s and High Court. He is a coordinator of Legal Aid Services in the institution. He has presented papers in various State, National & International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Published papers in various Journals. His areas of teaching and research include Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), CrPC, Indian Evidence Act, Indian Penal Code (IPC), Property Law, Mohammedan Law, Jurisprudence, White Collar Crimes, Penology, Victimology, Legal Research, Competition Law, International Economics & Trade Law, Consumer Protection Act and Contract Law.
Dr. Satish K.S. has pursued his LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Bangalore University. He holds a Ph.D. in Law on the topic; “Union-States Legislative Relations a Comparative Study with Special Reference to India and U.S.A.”from Bangalore University in 2019. He has qualified UGC-NET for Assistant Professor and K-SET. He has a huge teaching experience of 12 years. He has participated and published papers in a number of International and National Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums and Workshops.
She has pursued her LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the University of Mysore in 2009. She completed her M.A. in Political Science from Karnataka State Open University in 2012. She has cleared UGC-NET. She has several years of teaching experience. She was awarded a gold medal and cash prize for securing the highest marks in Constitutional Law. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi on the topic “A Comparative Study of Right to Privacy in the UK, USA, and India – With Special Reference to Data Protection”. Dr. Nalini R. pursued her LL.M. and Ph.D. from Bangalore University. She also pursued her M.A. in Political Science. She has qualified UGC-NET for Lectureship. Her area of specialization is Labour Law. She has vast experience in teaching, including working in Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and University Law College, Bangalore University. She has also worked as a Special Officer & Director of the College Development Council of Karnataka State Law University. She has presented & published articles in various National and International Journals.
She has completed her Master’s degree from Christ University, specialization in Applied Sociology. She has cleared the UGC-NET and qualified for Lectureship. She has worked for Christ University and taught at USAC (Universities Abroad Consortium) an international academic wing of Christ University, recruited her to design and execute the course plan for the Spring Semester. She has also worked for St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore. Her areas of interest in Sociology include Gender Studies, Geriatrics, Social Psychology, and Culture Studies. She has presented papers at National Level Seminars and has publications in reputed journals.
Dr. Harish Lambani holds a Master’s Degree in Law and Political Science subjects. He has pursued M.A. from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He did his LL.M. from University Law College, Bangalore University. He has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Bangalore University in the year 2021. He has published a book and many articles in National and International Journals. He also worked as an investigator conducted many field surveys in Karnataka and has assisted the institutes like LOKNITI & CSDS in conducting socio-political surveys. He is also appointed as the Secretary to the Bangalore Zone Karnataka Law Teachers Association in 2019. He has huge years of Teaching Experience in Law and Political Science subjects. He has also served as a soldier in the Indian Air Force for 11 Years.
She pursued her M.A. in Applied Economics from Christ University. She has cleared her K-SET. She has several years of teaching experience and a year of corporate experience. Prior to teaching she worked as a full-time Researcher in Kantar IMRB and used to handle clients like Tata Global Beverage Ltd., VST (Vazir Sultan Tobacco), Toyota, MTR, and TVS. She has presented papers both at the National and International levels. Her areas of teaching interest include Rural Development, Climate Change, Development Economics and Behavioral Economics.

Dr. Gayathri Bai S. has pursued her LL.M. from University Law College, Bangalore University in Business Law and has awarded Ph.D. degree from Department of Law, Mysore University in 2017 for her thesis titled “Protection of Foreign Direct Investment under International Law with special reference to India”. She has cleared her K-SET in 2015. She has various years of teaching experience. She has 7 years of research experience in various subjects. Her area of interest is FDI, Constitution, IPR, Company Law, Taxation and Criminal Laws. She has co-ordinated various states and national level conference organized in collaboration with KILPAR and Karnataka State Women Commission and was the editor of the conference proceedings. She invited as a resource person by Christ School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore. Dr. Roopa S. completed her LL.M. in Business Law from University Law College, Bangalore University. She is awarded Ph.D. in Law in 2020 from Bangalore University on the topic, “Consumer Protection Laws and Tourism - A Comparative Study with Special Reference to India, UK, and Australia”.She has qualified for K-SET. She has huge years of teaching experience. She has worked as a co-ordinator for the National Conference on ‘Protection of Rights and Dignity of Women in the Digital Era’ organized by the Karnataka State Commission for Women. She has presented the research papers in various State Level Seminars, National, International Conferences, and Law Journals. His research has been published in Online Blog journals such as Law Essentials and Legal Armor on topics such as 'Pandemic Lockdown: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing?', and 'Does Psychology & Environment Interplays? – From Development to Survival'. He has presented a paper titled 'Women in Detention’ at International Seminar on Women & Law held at ILI, New Delhi. Recently, he has participated in International Confluence of Academicians, The Kathmandu Dialogue 2020, as an Indian delegate. He is following the trend in the legal sector and development in Artificial intelligence and received the honor of being a part of the Artificial Intelligence General Assembly, as one of the delegates. He holds experience of two years in research and teaching. He teaches International Trade Economics, Jurisprudence, Human Rights as well as Administrative Law.
Ms. Rachana Malini Lakshman has secured the first rank with distinction in M.A. Political Science from Hyderabad Central University (ranked 6th in the country). She has cleared her NET and KSET. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Bangalore University on the topic, “India’s Progression towards UN Millennium Development Goals: An Assessment of Health and Gender Indicators”. She has two years of teaching experience. Her areas of teaching and research interest include Political theory and thought, Western Political Thought, Rural Development, Governance, Women Studies, Gender Politics, and International Relations. She has published articles in National Journals and also presented various research papers at National level conferences. She has secured two gold medals in her master’s program.

Dr. Sreemathy V. has pursued her Master’s Degrees in English Language and Literature, Linguistics and Hindi. She holds a Ph.D. degree in English at Jain Deemed University, Bangalore. With two decades of teaching experience in the areas of English Literature, English Language Education and Linguistics, She has published various articles and research papers in magazines and journals. She has conducted many workshops on personality development and soft skill training. She is a recognized Examiner, Paper Setter and Resource Person for different colleges and universities in Bangalore.
Dr. Manisha Banik has pursued LL.M. in Business Law from Faculty of Law, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 2014. She was awarded with Ph.D. in Law from Faculty of Law, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda on the topic " "A Study of Tort Law in India with special reference to State Liability, Product Liability and Public Nuisance Litigation." in 2019. Dr. Poonam Agarwal completed her LL.M. in 2011 from Department of Law, North Bengal University with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Rights. She has cleared UGC-NET in 2012 and was awarded Ph.D. on the topic “A Study of the Legal Framework for the Control and Regulation of Inter-Country Water Sharing from 1973-2013 with Special Reference to Indo-Bangladesh Water Sharing”in 2019 from North Bengal University. She has previously worked as a visiting faculty at Jalpaiguri Law College. She has been invited as a resource person for many national conferences and has also judged moot court and ADR competitions of many prestigious institutions. Dr. Kishan G.S. has pursued his LL.M. from Kuvempu University, Shimogga. He is also awarded Ph.D. in Law from Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi in the year 2019 on the topic - “Changing Judicial Response to Administrative Decisions - A Comparative Study with U.S.A. and U.K”. He also holds Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Karnataka State Open University, Mysore. He is practicing advocate in the High Court of Karnataka and other courts at Bangalore and Tumkur. He handles cases relating to Civil, Banking, Real Estate, Service, Consumer, Education, and Constitutional matters.

She has acted in the capacity of a Legal assistant advisor to a Human Rights Organization working along with the Indo-Bangladesh Border areas. She is pursuing her Ph.D. from Christ University, Bangalore on the area of “Extra-Judicial Killing along the Indo-Bangladesh border area, Cooch Behar: An Empirical Study”.
