Dr. Anitha F N D’Souza has pursued her LL.M. from University of Law, Bangalore University. She was awarded Ph.D. from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Cochin.

She has also completed her M.A. in Sociology. She has several years of teaching experience in various Law colleges in Bangalore.

Her areas of teaching and research include Law of Torts, Mercantile Laws, Taxation, and International Law.

Prior to taking over as the Principal of B.M.S. College of Law on 17-Jan-2017, she was the Vice Principal from 2011 and Assistant Professor from 2003 to 2011.

She has held several academic assignments such as Chairman, Deputy Custodian, Member of Faculty of Law, and Board of Examiners of KSLU and Bangalore University.

She has been instrumental in organizing Student Development Programmes, National Moot Court Competitions, Symposiums, Seminars, National and International Conferences.

Dr. Sujatha S. has pursued her LL.M., M.A. and M.Phil. She has also been awarded the Ph.D. from NUALS, Ernakulam, Kerala on the topic “New Dimensions on Judicial Review of Constitutional Amendment: A Study with Special Reference to Articles 31A, 31B and 31C read with Ninth Schedule under the Constitution of India''.

Currently she is serving as Vice Principal of the B.M.S. College of Law. She has been a part of B.M.S. College of Law for the past 23 years in various capacities. She is also heading as chairperson of Legal Aid Cell, Human Rights Cell and Women’s Cell. She has vast experience in the teaching profession of Law. She has presented papers in various State, National & International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Published papers in various Journals.

Her areas of teaching include Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Property Law, Women & Law, Contract II and DPC. She has been contributing her services for the overall development of the institution and the students.

Dr. Veerabhadraiah C. pursued his LL.M. from University Law College, Bangalore University. He also completed his M.A. in Political Science. He was awarded a Ph.D. from University Law College & P.G. Department of Law on the topic, “Legal Regime on Contract Labor- A comparative study with special reference to India and U.K.”. He has rich experience in teaching and has been a part of B.M.S. College of law since 2006. He is a member of the Board of Studies for Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology College, Bangalore. He is also a member of the Board of Examiners for the Department of Studies in Law, Shree Krishna Devaraya University, Bellary. (External Examiner for LL.M. Dissertation). He has been a Vigilant member, Supervisor, External Senior Supervisor Flying, and Sitting Squad Member for LL.B. Examination since 2010. He has set many question papers for the KSLU examination and was an Assistant and Deputy Custodian for the December 2019 and 2020 examination valuation of KSLU. He has presented papers at the State level, National Seminars and International conferences. He has also published papers in various Books and reputed Journals.

Dr. Satish K.S. has pursued his LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Bangalore University. He holds a Ph.D. in Law on the topic; “Union-States Legislative Relations a Comparative Study with Special Reference to India and U.S.A.”from Bangalore University in 2019. He has qualified UGC-NET for Assistant Professor and K-SET. He has a huge teaching experience of 12 years. He has participated and published papers in a number of International and National Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums and Workshops.

She has pursued her LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the University of Mysore in 2009. She completed her M.A. in Political Science from Karnataka State Open University in 2012. She has cleared UGC-NET. She has several years of teaching experience. She was awarded a gold medal and cash prize for securing the highest marks in Constitutional Law. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi on the topic “A Comparative Study of Right to Privacy in the UK, USA, and India – With Special Reference to Data Protection”. She has worked as a Research Assistant to Prof. K.S Suresh, Principal, JSS Law College, Mysore in preparation of study material on Criminal Law for a Diploma Course in Karnataka State Open University, Mysore. Dr. Nalini R. pursued her LL.M. and Ph.D. from Bangalore University. She also pursued her M.A. in Political Science. She has qualified UGC-NET for Lectureship. Her area of specialization is Labour Law. She has vast experience in teaching, including working in Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and University Law College, Bangalore University. She has also worked as a Special Officer & Director of the College Development Council of Karnataka State Law University. She has presented & published articles in various National and International Journals.

Dr. Gayathri Bai S. has pursued her LL.M. from University Law College, Bangalore University in Business Law and has awarded Ph.D. degree from Department of Law, Mysore University in 2017 for her thesis titled “Protection of Foreign Direct Investment under International Law with special reference to India”. She has cleared her K-SET in 2015. She has various years of teaching experience. She has 7 years of research experience in various subjects. Her area of interest is FDI, Constitution, IPR, Company Law, Taxation and Criminal Laws. She has co-ordinated various states and national level conference organized in collaboration with KILPAR and Karnataka State Women Commission and was the editor of the conference proceedings. She has published many research articles in UGC Journals & International journals and presented research papers during various national and international conferences and seminars. She invited as a resource person by Christ School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore. She sets question papers for examinations of Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi and University Law College, Bangalore University.

Dr. Roopa S. completed her LL.M. in Business Law from University Law College, Bangalore University. She is awarded Ph.D. in Law in 2020 from Bangalore University on the topic, “Consumer Protection Laws and Tourism - A Comparative Study with Special Reference to India, UK, and Australia”.She has qualified for K-SET. She has huge years of teaching experience. She has worked as a co-ordinator for the National Conference on ‘Protection of Rights and Dignity of Women in the Digital Era’ organized by the Karnataka State Commission for Women. She has presented the research papers in various State Level Seminars, National, International Conferences, and Law Journals. She has complied with various academic duties as Question Paper Setter, Valuer, Reviewer, External Examiner, and Senior External Supervisor. Her areas of interest include Hindu Law, Muslim Law, Torts, Jurisprudence, Environmental Law, and Human Rights.

She pursued her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from RML National Law University, Lucknow. She has qualified for UGC-NET. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in CMR University; Bangalore on the topic “Protection of Biodiversity under Intellectual Property Rights”. She has several years of teaching experience. She has presented papers in State and National Seminars and Published Articles in reputed Journals. Her areas of teaching interest include IPR, Family Law, Transfer of Property, and Law of Torts.

Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. from Christ University, Bangalore on “Rights of Indigenous Peoples - A Comparative Study with Reference to International Law”. Her areas of research and teaching include Constitutional Law, Public International Law, Administrative Law, Law of Torts, Company Law and Jurisprudence. She has participated and presented research papers in various State, National, and International Conferences. She also published papers in various journals.

She has completed her L.L.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Christ University, Bangalore. She has actively taken part in National Trial Advocacy Competitions and Jessup International Moot Court Competitions as an organizing head and represented the college in Moot Court competitions. She has published papers in reputed journals and has attended various webinars and seminars. She is the author of books titled “Critical Analysis of National Education Policy, 2020 vis-à-vis Right to Education” and “In-debt-nity or Indemnity: A study on Agricultural Insurance in India”.

Saket Sharma has attended the Summer School in Palestine on ‘Applied International Law’ in 2024. He has actively contributed to the development of the Space Law syllabus and organized numerous academic events at PES University. His professional experience is complemented by internships with the High Court in Delhi and the Human Rights Law Network in Chhattisgarh, where he honed his legal drafting and case briefing skills. Saket has qualified for KSET in 2024. His research interests are diverse, encompassing International Law, Human Rights and Environmental Law. His scholarly contributions include chapters in edited books and research papers in reputed journals. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bangla, Saket is dedicated to advancing legal education and research in International Law.

She is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in Human Rights and Social Justice. Holding a B.Com LL.B., Honours from Mahatma Gandhi University and an LL.M in Access to Justice from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, she has developed a strong understanding of Criminal Law and its application. She has applied this knowledge practically through work with Dhisha, a Kerala-based NGO, focusing on advocacy and support for marginalized communities. Additionally, her research includes a dissertation on Tribal Rights highlighting a deep commitment to addressing the intersection of indigenous rights and legal frameworks. Her areas of interest include Human Rights and Criminal law.

An LL.M degree graduate in Criminal Law from Manipal University, Jaipur, and has served as an Assistant Professor at ISBR College of Law, Bangalore, with one year of teaching experience. Deeksha Prasad is an Assistant Professor of Law with a specialization in Corporate and Commercial Law. Drawing on her background in litigation, teaching, and legal training, she brings both practical insight and academic rigor to the classroom. She completed her Master’s of Law from Christ University, Bangalore and is currently pursuing PhD in the same institution. While her core expertise lies in the corporate and commercial sphere, Deeksha is deeply passionate about societal issues and their intersection with law. Her research explores areas such as technology and consumer protection, financial regulation, and gender equality in corporate governance, reflecting her commitment to bridging legal theory with real world challenges. A national-level debate champion and acclaimed public speaker, she is recognized for her clarity of thought and persuasive advocacy. In her teaching, she strives to inspire students not only to master the complexities of corporate law but also to understand law’s role as a tool for social progress. She has published papers and books on NBFCs, corporate governance and consumer demands.

Mr. Devanand R believes that legal education must go beyond textbooks and prepare students to see law in action. A native of Bannur near the heritage city of Mysuru, he pursued his LL.M. at the University of Mysore, where he earned three Gold Medals and discovered his passion for teaching. He has taught at Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysuru, handling subjects such as Jurisprudence, Law of Torts, Professional Ethics, and Human Rights. His professional journey also includes experience in litigation and corporate exposure with Ramghad Mines and Minerals Limited - MSPL Baldota. Alongside academics, he has been actively involved in moot courts, research, mentoring, and outreach programmes, including training initiatives with the Department of Prisons. Recognised as “Best Advocate” in national-level moot competitions in Kannada & English and having qualified UGC-NET and KSET, he brings both academic rigour and practical insights into the classroom.

Bhuvanesh Mahesh is an accomplished Advocate, currently enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council (KAR 4351/2023). Holding an LLM in Corporate & Commercial Law from Christ University, Bengaluru, and BA LLB from Seshadripuram Law College. He brings a strong academic foundation to his teaching and legal practice. His practical legal training includes work as a Legal Associate with Hegde & Rao, Advocates & Solicitors at the Karnataka High Court, where he gained substantial experience in both civil and criminal litigation under the mentorship of leading Senior Advocates.

Apart from his legal practice, Bhuvanesh is dedicated to legal education and social outreach. His internship experiences span respected law firms across Bengaluru, where he was exposed to property, commercial, and trial court practices, legislative research, client counseling, and due diligence.

Bhuvanesh’s scholarly contributions include a dissertation on competition and regulation in the aviation sector, publication of articles on Environmental Pollution Liability and Witness Protection Laws. Recognized for his commitment to research, teaching and legal aid, he is also known for his achievements in extracurricular domains: as a state and national-level badminton player and as a trained Hindustani classical musician.

Mr. Siddesh D is a post graduate in commerce and finance with over six years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has taught a wide range of subjects, including Corporate Direct Tax Planning, Goods and Services Tax, Financial Management, Company Law and Corporate Reporting Practices.

He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Commerce at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and has qualified for UGC-NET (2024) as well as KSET (2020). His research interests focus on taxation, financial performance analysis, and emerging trends in commerce and management.

Mr. Siddesh has presented and published several research papers in national and international conferences and reputed journals and is a co-author of a textbook on GST Law and Practice. He has actively participated in faculty development programmes, conferences, and workshops to strengthen his academic and professional expertise. In recognition of his commitment to teaching, mentoring, and student development, he has been honoured with awards as the Best Mentor.

Ms. Arya Ajikumar pursued her LL.M. in Criminal Law, Criminology, and Penology and her LL.B. from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, University of Kerala. She is UGC-NET qualified. She has teaching experience as a Faculty of Law. Previously, she was enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Kerala and has experience in litigation and Court procedures.

She has served in various academic and professional capacities, including acting as a Judge for National ADR competitions and coordinating national legal seminars. She has presented research papers at multiple National Seminars and Webinars focusing on women's rights, human rights, and constitutional law. Additionally, she has published scholarly work in reputed journals on topics concerning secularism and legal reforms in India.

Smt. Pinky Banerjee is a academician with a strong academic and professional background in the fields of Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Law, Labour and Employment Law.

She completed her B.B.A., LL.B. from KLE Society’s Law College, Bengaluru, following which she gained over two years of industry experience as part of the Labour and Employment team at a corporate law firm. This professional experience provided her with practical exposure to employment laws and corporate legal practice.

She pursued her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights and International Trade Law from Christ University, School of Law, where she graduated as a meritorious student.

She subsequently joined ISBR Law College, Bengaluru, where she served as a faculty member for nearly two years. During her tenure, she was honoured with the Best Faculty Award in recognition of her contribution to teaching and academics.

Ms. Vasudha Harnhalli is a legal academic specialised in Commercial Law and Corporate Governance.

She pursued her LL.M. in Commercial Law at CMR University, Bengaluru, securing Gold Medal and First Rank holder.

She has keen interest in handling core subjects such as Company Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, and Banking Law. Her professional journey also includes practical corporate and litigation exposure gained with Ramghad Mines and Minerals Limited - MSPL Baldota Group in Hosapete. Ms. Danya Shrivastava, an LL.M. graduate in Business Law and Intellectual Property Rights from Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla. Her academic interests primarily focus on Intellectual Property Rights, Artificial Intelligence, Data Privacy, and emerging legal issues at the intersection of law and technology.

She is particularly interested in exploring how technological advancements are influencing legal frameworks and individual rights, especially in the areas of digital platforms, social media algorithms, data profiling and privacy. Her LL.M. dissertation, titled “Social Media Algorithms, Data Profiling and Right to Privacy: A Critical Analysis of Legal Safeguards in India,” further strengthened interest in this evolving area. Alongside IPR and technology law.

She has a keen interest in contemporary developments in business and corporate law, enjoys engaging with legal research and emerging areas of legal scholarship. Ms. Aishwarya Sundhara Rajan is an LL.M. graduate in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, with a strong foundation in legal research, academic writing, and policy analysis. Ms. Poorvie Umachigi is an LL.M. graduate specialized in Constitutional and Administrative Law from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Arbitration Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. She has completed her M.A. in English from Kuvempu University in 2012, securing Second Rank, completed B.Ed. from Bengaluru North University and PGDELT from the Regional Institute of English, Bangalore.

She has completed online courses in Postcolonial Literature, Literature, Culture and Media, and Indian Drama in English through NPTEL, along with a course in Gandhian and Peace Studies from Manipal University.

She has several years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, teaching General English, Communication Skills, Business Communication, Technical English, and English Literature across various disciplines. She has also trained aspirants for competitive examinations.

Dr. Krishna R.M. holds a Ph.D. in Kannada Literature from the Department of Kannada Sahitya at Kannada University, Hampi. His doctoral dissertation, titled "Kannada Navya Kategala Vimarsheya Tatvika Niluvogalu," explores the critical and theoretical frameworks shaping modernist Kannada short fiction. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned a Master’s degree in Kannada from Karnatak University, Dharwad, alongside a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

Over the past eight years, he has taught Kannada literature at the higher education level, balancing dedicated classroom instruction with active research. He frequently contributes to the broader scholarly community through paper presentations at national-level seminars and publications focused on literary theory and criticism.

Sri. Hemanth S. Angadi has over Eight years of experience spanning higher education, academic research, and institutional leadership. He holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Insurance (PGDBI), and is both UGC-NET and KSET qualified in Commerce.

He also holds an Associate Diploma (AIII) from the Insurance Institute of India. Demonstrating strong organizational leadership, he has served in key administrative roles—including Principal at Rajiv Gandhi Vidyalaya and Asst. Administrator at Shri. P V Joshi Law College, Dharwad—under Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, an Institution of National Importance declared by the Parliament.
