Dr. Anitha F N D’Souza has pursued her LL.M. from University of Law, Bangalore University. She was awarded Ph.D. from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Cochin on the topic
“The right to food and the hurdles in its enforcement under the WTO; A study in relation to implications on India”.
She has also completed her M.A. in Sociology. She has several years of teaching experience in various Law colleges in Bangalore. Her areas of teaching and research include Law of Torts, Mercantile Laws, Taxation, and International Law.
Prior to taking over as the Principal of B.M.S. College of Law on 17-Jan-2017, she was the Vice Principal from 2011 and Assistant Professor from 2003 to 2011. She has held several academic assignments such as Chairman, Deputy Custodian, Member of Faculty of Law, and Board of Examiners of KSLU and Bangalore University.
She has been instrumental in organizing the Student Development Programmes, National Moot Court Competitions, Symposiums, Seminars, National and International Conferences for the benefit of students. She has presented papers in various State, National & International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and published papers in various Journals.
