Dr. Apoorva, has pursued her Doctorate Degree in English from Presidency University, Bangalore in 2024 on the topic “Tracing the Threads of Tradition: Literary Ethnography of Sthanikas of South Canara”. She has completed her M.A. in English from Kuvempu University in 2012, securing Second Rank, completed B.Ed. from Bengaluru North University and PGDELT from the Regional Institute of English, Bangalore.
She has completed online courses in Postcolonial Literature, Literature, Culture and Media, and Indian Drama in English through NPTEL, along with a course in Gandhian and Peace Studies from Manipal University.
She has several years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, teaching General English, Communication Skills, Business Communication, Technical English, and English Literature across various disciplines. She has also trained aspirants for competitive examinations.
Her areas of teaching interest include English Language and Literature, English Language Teaching, Communication Skills, Postcolonial Literature, Indian Writing in English, Folk Literature, Cultural Studies, and Literary Ethnography.
